He has responsibility for maintaining the RTO status for St John and producing course and learning materials for use across Australia. These changes were achieved through implementation of effective change management processes and staff consultation.

At CIT, he led the implementation of flexible learning centres, WebCT, the CIT Virtual Campus and e-learning. Nationally, he is a pro-active member of the Flexible Learning Advisory Group (FLAG), which advises the national training system on flexible learning. Mr LeCornu is responsible for the Industry Engagement and Networks projects within the Australian Flexible Learning Framework 2006, the $15 million national flexible learning change program. He is a regular presenter at conferences on flexible learning.

Mr LeCornu is also recognised as a leader in the management of information technology within vocational education and training. At CIT, he was actively involved in the implementation of all new information management systems and was an active member of the CIT Information Technology Committee. In October 2002, he worked with staff from Centralian College in Alice Springs to develop a three year Information Technology strategic plan.

Mr LeCornu is totally committed to implementing high quality, customer focussed learning solutions for individuals and enterprises. From 2000 to 2002, he chaired the CIT quality committee, guiding work to ensure that CIT complied with all requirements of the Australian Quality Training Framework.
