to install SEE, simply copy it's exe file into an emtpy folder (doesn't have to be empty, but it makes it easier). Copy SEE's book into the same folder as SEE. If you plan to use SEE with winboard then you will also need to copy it's book into the winboard folder, i'm not quite why this is, but it's not high on my 'to fix' list. Interestingly this isn't neccesary for use with Arena (the only other interface I have tested it with). The SEE ini file is a file that is loaded at the start. Every line in the ini file is passed to the engine as if you had just typed it. So a common .ini file would be something like this. log book post force set_logfile seegames.pgn book_load fenbook.txt whisper You can of course edit this as you wish. If SEE doesn't find it's ini file, then it will create a simple default one. This will NOT include a book being loaded.
